Hi there - I’m Bex

I’m a Health & Wellbeing Life Coach and I support (predominantly) women who are experiencing a change in their life, feeling lost and unfulfilled or who generally know that they need to sort their sh*t out.

I’ll be your biggest cheerleader, advocate and supporter as you work to figure out whatever it is that makes you tick, or need to do to make your life work for you.

I’m not afraid to ask the tough questions that you may know yourself need answering, and I’ll be there to hold your hand as you take the steps forward down the path of a life you’re excited to live.

Working with me, you’ll be safe in the knowledge that I am 100% on your side, supporting you every step in whatever direction you need to take.

I bring with my my experience of living abroad, away from my own support network, navigating challenging situations both personally and professionally and ability to turn my hand to any situation.

A ‘jack of all trades’ in my ex-corporate career in Facilities Management focusing on Catering and Hospitality for over 15 years, I was made redundant at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and used the opportunity to retrain as a Health Coach. Since 2021 I’ve been working as a Health and Wellbeing Life Coach independently in my own private practice. I also support Coaching Students as a Coaching Circle Facilitator for the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and work as a Virtual Assistant supporting other Health and Wellness business owners.

Be Unapologetically You

3 young women in a field of sunflowers. All look happy laughing smiling. one wears sunglasses.

You’re wearing many, many hats

You have so many roles in your life. Manager, mentor, wife, mother, sister, daughter, financial planner, admin support, operations director, taxi driver - you name it,you do it. My guess is that at the bottom of the list is taking care of yourself.

Perhaps throw into the mix a major lifestyle change – maybe you’re coming to the end of a fertility journey that’s resulting in a baby or otherwise. You may be navigating the end of a long-term relationship, or perhaps steering your path through a career change.

Whatever it is, you don’t have to do it alone.

As a coach, I help you – in my clients words – to ‘sort your shit out’. Whether that’s supporting you through a relationship breakdown, navigating a change in career, holding your hand as you experience a major life transition or even just walking by your side as you navigate the tricky world of adulting.

We won’t be focusing on the past, why you are where you are or delving into the mysteries of your childhood and adolescence – instead, we’ll focus on the here and now, and your glittering future – whatever YOU want that to be.

After working with me, clients feel a sense of peace that they are on their right path and that they are the ones pulling their strings and in control of their own wild and crazy journey of life.

Live Life in Technicolor

Working with me, you’ll benefit every day from positive mental wellbeing, establishing boundaries that serve you, feel confident and empowered both professionally and personally and above all feel happy, fulfilled and sure of yourself, without relying on detrimental coping mechanisms that you know haven’t served you well in the past.

Change rarely feels easy. Working with me, you can rest assured that I’ll take on board whatever health and wellbeing means to YOU.

My Story So Far

Confident kid to lost teenager

2000s

Plagued by eating disorders in a desperate attempt to hold on to control

Early twenties

2010

A destructive relationship and obsession with health spiraling into Orthorexia

Hospitality career takes off

Over 15 years in London & the Middle East. Juices, kale and 6am gym sessions every morning replicated in equal measures by wine, shots & questionable sleeping arrangements in the evenings.

Outside of work

Two marathons, two Tough Mudders, several half marathon and 10k races. Bridesmaid many times but never the bride

Finally my turn

A whirlwind romance saw me engaged to my now-husband after 7 months and married in 14.

2020

Covid hits - redundancy strikes

10 weeks into a bucket-list job and I was made redundant, alongside around 24,000 other people working for the company

‘Let’s just have a baby’

To my frustration I quickly realised this wasn’t something I could just click my fingers and make happen - so I set about trying to figure out how I could pivot my career towards Health and Wellbeing.

Health Coach

At this point I thought ‘Health’ was ‘thin, works out and eats clean’ - and I was keen to help other people figure that out. I enrolled in a Health Coaching Diploma through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, taking the accelerated six month program rather than the usual year to graduate.

2021

Something’s not quite right

I threw myself into coaching, first focusing on weight loss and then intuitive eating and Health at Every Size. I had some success - but couldn’t shake the feeling that I didn’t love what I was doing and that someone with a naturally society-approved size 12 body and a ton of privilege, actually I was a bit of a fraud.

2022

Hey, baby!

2024

It was a huge relief when I finally had a pregnancy that stuck. I planned for a period of maternity leave from January 2022, but never quite mustered the enthusiasm to getting my coaching practice back up and running, focusing instead on working as a VA and a Coaching Facilitator.

Another certification

At the beginning of 2024 I was offered the opportunity to study for an enhanced coaching diploma to enable me to sit the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching certification

Finding my passion

What I didn’t expect was that it would reignite my passion for coaching and lead me to an ‘ah ha’ moment that actually, coaching is not about my own Health knowledge and expertise rather than the skill of coaching is facilitating a safe space for a client to discover their own version of their best life.

Today

Spreading the word…

That health is not just about the food that you eat and the exercise that you do but actually, 360 degree health encompasses so much more - what brings you joy, your social connections, your friends & family and other significant relationships, your financial wellbeing, your passions, hobbies and interests, the environments that you occupy, the way you engage your mind, how you handle your emotions, how you find your place and meaning in the world…
